Vensters in het Landschap

The horses are back.

The three stolen horses are back in Katwijk The Netherlands. The artwork is called ‘Windows in the landscape’. The three horses form the ‘artistic final part of the relationship with Valkenburg and its horse market’. They are a stallion, mare and foal. “They form a family that stands for the geniality of Valkenburg,” continues Knape. The largest horse is 3.5 meters high and 3.5 meters long. The two other horses are 3.2 by 3.2 meters and 2.2 by 2.2 meters. Landscape architect Sjoerd Hoogma is also relieved that the work of art is justified again: ‘Fortunately, the horses know how to find their way to their stable flawlessly.’
